I am a pretty big fan of Robotech from the 80's - 90's. I bought this ps2 game not knowing anything about it except that it looked to be a game based on the third generation, from the show. I have played through this game at least twice now, that I can remember, and this is what I think: it's like wish-fulfillment. I love how they got some of the original voice actors from the show, which for me at least, really went a long way in the immersion factor. While I see and understand what other reviewers are saying about things like the motorcycle mode being hard to handle, and a wish for more acrobatic combat maneuvers, it is my opinion that the game is just really good! A third generation Robotech fan's dreams come true. At least, it's like that for me. I really wish they'd make another one for the ps4/ps5!
