I've just finished The Ink Black Heart thank goodness. It was slow and frankly boring at times especially the online chats which I had to skip, even Strike said at one point how boring they were. However the characters were very good and I enjoyed the banter between Strike and Robin. Please JK revert back to your previous style of writing the Strike novels which were excellent. It'll be interesting to see if the TV series can liven this story up.
