I think that this is one of the better series, the amount of tension they manage to create is crazy, I think that if a zombie sort of apocalyptic scenario did ever arise then it would be like black summer. They have trouble finding weapons, you can feel the fear, helplessness, and vulnerabilty in the characters and everyone isn't a zombie killing machine. as social fabric deteriorates the threat from humans is just as great. Maybe if you get hung up on minor details ( I did nt notice any of this but I 've not watched it all yet) then this will bug you. There is nt much back story so far but it feels a bit more first person than most zombie stuff, filmed almost like blairwitch in places with shakey camera and stuff, almost like your there. Just watch it in the alone in the dark with no distractions and you will get the full effect and I bet you won't notice any of the details some reviews have pulled it on.
