10/10
I have more then 300 hours on this game. Here is why you should ignore people that give it one star:
*Yes, while the game doesn't offer guidance, you can search up on youtube what to do.
-boss area (aka margit, the fell omen when starting the game or anything other if not found(
-builds
-whatever else needed.
*This game, is hard. The controls aren't what you think they are. People complain about dodge and run being 0 (on playstation, dunno on xbox or pc) whilst you just have to simply play claw grip. Solves the issue pretty easily.
* YES, BOSS FIGHTS ARE HARD. I mean what do you expect? A little soldier for a boss fight?? Yes they will be hard, they are bosses... Learn the move pattern, make a stronger build,...
* NO, YOU ARE NOT FORCED TO FIGHT BOSSES INSTANTLY. Unlike other soulsgames, progression isn't stopped at a certain area. You can explore further, find better weapons, level more,... You are free in an OPEN WORLD.
*YOU MAKE THE DIFFICULTY OF THE GAME. You heard me. You wanna beat bosses easily? Bleed builds. Wanna make it harder? Use weaker weapons. Don't complain about it being easy or hard. You have summons, insane weapon AOWs, overpowered jumping attacks,... So please don't yell it is too easy or hard.
* Do not complain of a lack of story. Read discriptions of weapons, letters, information or simply search up theories and full story videos on youtube.
* Yes, while some areas are pretty heavy with insane damage dealing enemies, there are routes around it or abilities. For example, assassin's gambit makes you invisible for enemies. Pretty overpowered.
* 'the end fight lacks difficulty' okay?? It's gorgeous. I bet that if he were to be stronger, you'd complain.
*No, you didn't 'finish' the game agter a platinum. You probably still have caves, catacombs, unexplored areas, boss fights,... That you have NEVER done.
And for my personal review: although the game was hard i fought through. Every bossfight felt overwhelming at first, but after slowly picking up the moveset of the boss it became easy. The feeling of beating a boss after so long also feels great. The pvp aspect is also good. Invasions a solid 7.5/10, didn't like it at first, kinda do now.
Game is gorgeous, with areas i've still never found even after 300+hours.
The dlc, Shadow Of The Erdtree, is also spectacular. I recommend it to anyone interested.
That's it. Hope it helped about the other reviews.
