A nice try to recapture the spirit of the origin series . A few sight gags land but others become repetitive and predictable . Neesom is game but seems out his element in this tired farce of the original . Anderson is a highlight and has a few good moments . Huston is , as always , a delicious villain . This Naked Gun is a reminder that some movies were a product of their time and cannot be duplicated .

Very well written series. Stallone is perfectly cast as a Mafia ex-con banished to Tulsa by his crime family . Great supporting cast .
