Love this album. The intro, band name, and album cover all set the tone really well so you probably have at least a small idea of what you’re getting into. Though you probably didn’t expect the music to punch you in the face on the first song. Pollution is a brilliant opener and the fact that the oh so famous counterfeit happens after makes these first couple songs VERY hard hitting. The whole first third of the album awakes an inner rage you may have never felt. Then the 2nd third happens, now there is still good rememberable moments. Probably the best song on the album faith is in the middle, though they don’t change things up enough and it simply just isn’t as strong in the middle of the album. Then the last third punches you in the face again and does change things up. Very solid last third of the album, indigo flow makes me feel like I’m floating above the earth and leech feels the heaviest of all the songs cause it’s heavy in a different way and everything always puts me in a trance and is technically the first ever post rock song like ever.
The final verdict is that the first third is amazing, the middle dips a little bit and the last third is really good. That deserves a 4/5.
