1 reference to the prior movies and that is with a father and his kid other than that nothing relevant. Decided the ending to 28 weeks later wasn't going to lead into this move at all or show anything relevant to the story line so the ending 28 weeks later is just left in the dust. Majority of the movie had a lot of randomness to it and just seemed like the writer is either trying to kill off the series or is focused on ruining it cause this movie was nothing like the first two. Not sure what movie the 5 star ratings are coming from, but anyone that saw the other two will be disappointed and wondering what the hell these guys were doing. This really should have been made into its own little side spin offs or something but definitely not the third part of the series.
