The original Lilo and stitch and it's sequel have been my comfort movie for my entire life.
This felt the most thrown together movie taking iconic parts of the original with no substance.
They cut the main villain, added 2 characters who really did nothing for the plot and taking out the entire romantic story between nani and David but acting like it was still there.
The pacing seems so quick that it ruins the feel of the original.
Overall by itself it's an okay extremely predictable movie with an eh ending. But compared to the original it doesn't understand the core meaning behind it. For it being 15 minutes longer it feels like there is so much less meaningful things in this movie
Rewatching the original right after seeing this in theaters, there's so much they changed and so many lines they took without context.
Ohana means family - this movie does not understand that one bit
