I loved it. The cast is truly stellar, the singing and dancing and acting are superb as you would expect from these performers, and I rather liked the special effects. I'm rather baffled why everyone else seems to hate it so much - especially the critics, who are perhaps just joining the dogpile because everyone else is? My only minor complaint is that some of the wire work was a little too showy. Personally, I now regard this as the best version of the musical yet.
