As a massive fan of the novel, I was sceptical about how this series might go. I can truly say that second to watching various iterations of the novel in film, Lost in Austen has become my go to feel good viewing. I love the quirky humour and juxtaposition of the text with this fan fic version and honestly, I think Jane, the social commentator and wit, would LOVE this adaptation. Sharing it with people closest to me gives pleasure because I see my smile reflected in their eyes.
