The Kendrick brothers outdid themselves in all that they did in bringing the Christian movie, The Forge, to theaters. This movie is inspiring and renews one’s faith , It did mine.
This movie celebrates the hardships and joy found in forgiving others, putting God first and the importance in becoming a disciple, leader mentor to others including those whom have deeply hurt you personally.
Today, some of us adults enjoyed a Sunday outing to see The Forge after church. I feel that it was no accident that I wound up joining in to see this movie despite the heartache that has caused me to become more reclusive. This movie may cause a tear or two to run down your face in some scenes, as well as, clapping your hands in joy in other scenes.
Do you wonder where God is? Are you stuck and feel God is not listening to your prayers? Do you want to change your life through growing in Christ? Do you need to know why the importance of being surrounded by supportive Christian friends whom you can call upon when you need a helping hand, (and we all do), then go see this movie, The Forge.
Message for the Kendrick Brothers: I’m so uplifted by your movies, I am a retired public school and Children’s Ministry teacher. I’ve fought so many battles and heartaches that there were times, I felt like giving up and life would be better if I was not part of it. Your movies such as The Forge, War Room and others give me hope. I have no underlying motive in saying this but I would work for you two for free. It would be refreshing to work for and with dedicated Christian people whom bring the Word to help others. That’s how much your faith inspired movies and spreading the Word mean to me and I’d be honored to be a part.
