I decided to watch it purely because of my beautiful Mr Frankenstein Harry Treadaway, I absolutely adored him in Penny Dreadful but wasn't expecting him to play American in this (he did it well but I prefer his normal accent). His acting is top tier but the storyline kind of failed him with this movie. SPOILERS AHEAD!! I guess this is a movie about aliens? With a weird element of SA and forced pregnancy I guess? I honestly don't really know what the movie is about. Lol this could have been a cool movie if they would have like literally given some kind of explanation as to why this is happening and who is doing this at the very least. It seemed to have abruptly ended and I sat here at the end going wait, that's it? So idk there are some eery points in it and the relationship is pretty cute, in the middle I almost thought they were going to turn it around and it would have been him going crazy and having like capgrass syndrome or something and he was actually the one hurting her. Might have been a cool twist. But all in all Harry Treadaway is a beautiful man and almost seeing him fully naked was worth it. 😍💦
