Nola Fadel

Having read the book several times, I'm disappointed. I was so looking forward to watching a remake of the original series, but the characters, the time line, the development of the story are out of sync with the book. It is not based on the book but rather loosely connected to it. It's very confusing. The scenery, costumes and the small details of everyday life in feudal Japan are great. They are tiny details in a rich story that isn't told.
