These games did not deserve the backlash the community gave it. They were faithful remakes of the original whilst bringing many modern improvements. Really love what they did with the underground, and giving some of the gym leaders,elite 4 and champ full on competitive sets. A bold move for sure, but it's one some of us long time players have been waiting on for so long. Quite the uphill challenge. And you could still overcome it with grinding because of the underground so it works out. Sure, there are things I would have loved changed such as more TM accessibility and easier access to high IV mons for post game. But I think for ILCA's first remake, and given the notoriously short dev cycle they get given, they deserve a lot of praise. Calling devs 'lazy' when they're working their socks off to get the game released on time is just a lowball. Don't be mad just because it wasn't a Platinum remake. Hope to see ILCA work on the next remake. They're a real talent.
