Part autobiography that remains
interesting throughout because he has
clearly lived, with notes on love, death and
family.
Part study and notes, with lots of valuable
insight into his own mind and others,
namely I found valuable the parts on
Courtney Dauwalter - maybe the greatest female endurance runner.
This is a mature book with very humanising
elements to it, hauntingly so, unlike some
of it's counter parts which most would find
to be too cold to find interesting to read
I only knocked a point off due to his
explanations on morality and ethics of
bowhunting, I felt it was unnecessary to me
and maybe even most, needless to say I
skipped a lot of that.
Cold and hard slaps about reality back to
back throughout!
