Scorsese's masterful production, cinematography and casting are all quality, but unfortunately he also indulges his usual tendency to draw out the story out beyond reasonable.
He could have left an hour or so on the cutting room floor without affecting the plot.
I can't, in good conscience, recommend that anyone subject themselves to the whole 3 hours and 20 minutes.
