A truly magnificent game. It is a real faithful throwback to an older era of gaming. It gave me a full 40-hour experience with a very interesting story to back that playtime. The mechanics are classic and authentic to its inspirations but precisely tuned. Careful attention has clearly been given when deciding where to modernize and where to stay true to the genre and its origins. The music is also incredible and its soundtrack belongs on your Spotify as a workout playlist. If you are in any way a fan of JRPGs or just good stories, finely tuned gameplay, and epic music, then I can highly recommend this game.
