Cinematography and acting isn't terrible. The "heroine" is 100% annoying, unrelatable, and unlikable. I'd honestly like this movie if it weren't for her character.

Catherine is unlikable and largely unrelatable. Costumes, make up, set appear amateur. Storyline didn't make sense, not much Egyptian correlation which made the original interesting and mysterious. Dialogue was so juvenile. Acting was terrible.
