I haven't read the "book", but after seeing the first several episodes, that was one thing I am looking forward to! It's different, seems to combine some 1984 aspects with the complete trust of government. Seems timely considering how blindly people believe OUR current government!
Acting is good, and cinematography is really good. Love how everything is almost sepia tone.
