Batman is already a dark character as he is an anti-hero and this noir, psychological interpretation of the character drags the film down and the story is lost. It came across as too slow, drawn out and dare I say boring! I lost interest in the first hour, due to the overuse of narration and flat dialogue. I struggled to the end hoping for improvement which did not come.
