I thought making a sequel to Top Gun wasn't a great idea until I saw this. Having served in the Navy mostly in San Diego I appreciated this movie probably more than some of the people that have seen it. The action scenes were great, the ending had multiple scenarios that could've went either way and had many on the edge of their seats. The relationship scenes were just enough and not over done as it was a bit in the original. This is hands down one of the best movies I've ever seen.
