I had not watched the teaser and my husband took me on a date for this film, as both of us love SRK💜 This movie felt very nostalgic, and it reminded me of the sacrificial, unconditional love story of Veer Zaara! What made it even more special is entire main cast have been given good screen time and have done full justice to their roles. The varsity with which the movie starts as an innocent setup, to the start of "Donkey Trip* and then meeting again as old friends, have been handled with all the right magical emotions.
While some may say the movie's theme, illegitimate entry to UK is 20years old, it has to be noted that it still significantly happens in many remote areas of Haryana, Punjab and UP, to name a few, where clarity of information is lacking and people still tend to rely on these agents to become "donkers".
I found the movie very refreshing - as it brings back the memories of the 1990s which was all about innocence, hardwork, sacrifice and unconditional bonding in families. Not only that, SRK has delivered this true blue romantic boy role after years, and made us fall in love with him once again!
Tapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani and all the other cast played very heart-warming roles, that would make us laugh and cry!
