If you appreciate film and have an adult attention span you’ll love this movie and the many themes and depths it undertakes while dancing with the complexities of love and desire, fear, isolation and the yearning for love by both the wicked and innocent. It’s horror but not for shock value. Rather it condemns obsolete movement and focuses on deliberate actions albeit futile when confronted with the powers of the count (nosferatu). If you are looking for cheap thrills with a short attention span you’ll hate this movie. You should go watch IT. Because this ain’t IT (yes that was intentional)

Very original. Creative. Didnt have a major budget and doesn't cast white characters so movies like that tend to be rated lower. However, what it lacks in special effects and maybe production quality, it more than compensates with it's originality, memorable characters, and unpredictability. This is not a typical "horror" film. Definitely worth watching to form your own opinion

The acting is bad. The story line is bad. The special effect are bad. The only good thing is everyone loves Keanu. If his name weren't Keanu Reeves and lets say, "Joseph Todd" would this movie get an 80% from rotten tomato? Give me a break!!! Those reviews are rigged to get your money!

Hands down one of the best shows on TV. I'm not going to spend any more time convincing anyone to watch it on here after this: Just watch one episode.

Just a tiny spolier... (Been a fan since the game first came out) Movie started amazingly. Sub zero and scorpion tension and rivalry immediately pulled me in. Everything was great.. until Cole B character was introduced. Absolutely 100% the wrong move to make him a part of the movie as a focal point! This guy actually lost a fight against a regular earth realm opponent and with a couple days of training he's ready to take on GORI???? SUB-ZERO?? Movie went from an A- to A C+ because of Cole

This was tragic to say the least. And I don't mean the story. I mean... everything. How about we start with the fact that there were barely ANY real martial arts; it was all exaggerated... the few times there was any action at all. Not to mention none of the action even looked real. And if you're going to use real people and real life environments, go REAL or go home! Planet of the apes style. This movie didn't know if wanted to capture the complexities of the real world or have a cartoon caterpillar puff a J. Or we could pivot to the script; I'm talking about some of the laziest writing. Hollywood wrote this in 2 days I bet. Here you have us all buttered up waiting for this magnificent release and new rendition of a beloved Disney classic and you don't make sure you have the absolute BEST writers on it?? Mind boggling. Add that to a daft musical score. I mean, there was absolutely nothing musically memorable. No theme. No gravity. And no weight. The best thing about the movie was the environment and visual components sans animated animals. Disney should be ashamed.

If people are thinking about what the point of this game was, which is to restart the franchise, go back to it’s roots of simplicity, and make a game less cluttered with different styles etc… then this certainly hits the mark. The pace is perfect for being able to see the beauty of martial arts; you can actually see a move and the characters form. The scenery in 4k is gorgeous. The story ties everything together and (re)introduces characters in case people didn’t understand each character’s history. Definitely an asset to the franchise.
