Loved this film.
While of a by-gone era, subtly juxtaposed the culture of the time with the ferocious, and very contempory, insatiable greed for control---regardless of the consequences.
Our civilisation seems hell-bent in repeating the obscenity of burning books in every generation---in some way or other.
Thank God for mature actors like these who call it the way it was---and is.
Mortimer gets my first vote, for her sheer strength-in-gentleness.
