Absolutely ridiculous!
Just read the below for a short rundown of how badly written this storyline actually is...
**SOME PEOPLE LEAVING REVIEWS SAY - "GET A SENSE OF HUMOUR" or "IT'S LIKE INSIDE No9" - As a fan of Inside No9 for 10 years, in my opinion, this show is absolutely nothing like it.**
So Andrew Lincoln's character is suffering from anxieties and avoids any altercations, potentially scary situations or arguments whenever he possibly can.
So, he decides to go for a run late at night and into the woods.
He just so happens to come across a man hiding behind a tree in the woods, of which he had an altercation with in a Petrol Station earlier that same day!
Not only is the script terrible, but the it's incredibly violent, especially the start of ep 1 which is set in a children's playground and a Father punches his child in the face before turning on a bystander who tries to step in (who happens to be a woman), and brutally kicks and punches her to the ground.
Now... I understand these things sadly can happen in life, but the way this happened is just nonsense! And I certainly didn't see any element of a black comedy / dark comedy within the production of this programme.
