The first film was poor. It was lazy and felt like a very bad 70s horror film. I've just watched the first 10 minutes of the sequel. It's just as bad and I won't watch any more. Really really lazy screenplay. No real setup (other than paint-by-nunbers), straight into an attack, completely stupid people. What's the point?

A rare thing, in terms of accessible TV with a British cast - decent actors and pretty decent script! The main cast and general supporting cast are absolutely excellent. The weaker members are the incidental characters of the "bad guys behind the scenes". I can't fault any of the leads. The story is good (just a few weaker points here and there) but it really is the cast that makes it work.
