It has gone downhill since the show runners have had to write content off of the novels. What used to be a thoughtful and engaging series has turned into something I would call more Disney and fan service. I give it a thumbs up for season 1-4, indifferent for seasons 5 & 6, and a two thumbs way down for season 7 & 8.
