I watched the film first and had questions while watching because I felt like some details were missing. So I googled the movie to find out it came from a novel. I know that most Netflix movies that came from books are rushed but I really did enjoy this movie. I understood the message and I kept telling myself I liked the movie. I definitely cried at the end. I am a reader so I will be looking for the novel.
