Beautifully made move, the cinematography does not take away from the chefs culinary masterpieces. It's an in-depth reflection on how we view the mundane restaurant experience and the staff that serve us. Through out the move it's not even cultish; it more passion & self exploration. It's the same passion and obsession that was in the movie “whiplash” but translated into the culinary arts & the movies protagonist is in the perspective of the audience/ guest. The ending is self explanatory, however the protagonist ending emotional and mental whereabouts can be debated.
