It’s very difficult for me to watch films like this and not feel some type of way towards the victim, in this case the main chick, the one that was basically duped for the eight years, there is never a legitimate reason or excuse to where you should find it normal or OK that you have continued to have an online relationship with somebody for several years, but yet you have never met them in person. I will never understand how people can justify all the BS that is given to them in the process before they find out that in all actuality, they were being lied to this whole time. And then they act all shocked as if they never saw that coming. It’s unfortunate, of course that this happened to her and I’m sure it has a lasting effect on her and her family and the family of the gentleman that had his identity stolen. But like I said if she would’ve just taken the appropriate steps that really anyone with any sense would do in the very beginning of this she would’ve been able to prevent all this from happening to her.
