I found this series to be suspenseful and thought-provoking. Each episode draws you into the plot, as well as the characters. It progressively gets more interesting as you learn the ever present mysteries and get more intimate with the protagonists, and antagonists. Due to the various sub-plots, the story moves forward without getting bogged down into a monotonous humdrum one-act play, yet still keeps the overall theme as the primary star. There are twists and turns, light moments and tragedies. It's the whole package, well written, beautifully filmed, and excellently performed. The score sets the perfect tone. The final episode leaves you begging for the immediate release of Season 2.
