Let's start with the good, it's entertaining enough to watch and the CGI is absolutely amazing. A short list. The Acting is somewhat lacking at times, parts of the story are very easy to see coming from episode 1, the show is very serious at points and then seems to turn in to a teen melodrama at other times. The characters say way too often things aren't real even though they repeatedly sse everything that's mentioned is real "Demons aren't real" "Magic isn't real" "The city isn't real" you would think at some point the writers would stop leaning on characters believing things aren't real to push dialogue.
The storyline acts as if long ago there was a war, however there are still a couple people who are still alive who remember it. However there are also multiple people the same age as those who also should have been alive but seem to have no lines, they are just there to look at, who could say "no what he says is real". However It never comes which makes no sense. The show takes place in a fantasy setting yet there are real world things, like a metal ship (oil tanker) that is rusting, or a playground which seems to be completely out of place with no explenation.
Season 1 talks often of how magic is dead and gone, here's a druid who is the last magic user but magic is dead or fake. Here's the druid and 1 other person who can use magic and those are the only people who can use magic as stated and shown through the entire series (along with the 1 bad guy). Season 2 opens with and is pushed on the premise of "theres a rogue group killing off the magic users" and we repeatedly see more and more people who can use magic. The show is literally a pit of plot holes.
