Omg. Dumb soundtrack (where are all those loud female reporters?) SO SLOW. No empathy for any character built. Predictable up until the unrealistic final. Ben ‘caught in the headlights 101’ : not smart, not wise, and same expression the whole time. BAD ACTING AND DIRECTION.

Yes, great colours and cinematography. Yes Demi and her younger half were great. I agree that Demi was a ‘good sport’ about the satirical and amusing nature of the theme. If they could only do a reality check on the story! Should she/they be so isolated that they have no friends acquaintances or family? Maybe that’s what it’s about? Isolating narcissism, I just answered my own question.. good visual voyeuristic fun in a cautionary tale.

Astonishing! Wow. Amazing performances by all involved. Incredible cinematography showing the paucity of nature in the urban (Beiruit) landscape conflated with and juxtaising the paucity of humanity. The natural result stemming from limited resources; whether from lack of education to the cultural and religious mores placed on women and men to subjugate thier lives to poverty and its appaling consequences. No 'one' is at fault, the adults are to blame.
