There is hardly anyone in india who can show history as good as Mr Ashutosh Gowariker. Making the leading lady the narrator of the film was such an unique idea and it was a masterstroke. Brilliant execution of an enthralling story. IMDb and the box office doesn't justify the stature of this movie. Kriti as Parvati Bai and Arjun as Sadashiv was a treat to watch. Specially the screen lit up whenever Kriti came on. Sanjay Dutt was good but "yeh dil mange more" from an actor like him. Cinematography and BGM only takes the movie to a new high. Depiction of Maratha valour can be felt throughout the film and after. Not Panipat but my heart was won by Sadashiv Rao Peshwa.
