With everyone else’s reviews, I feel kind of bad because I felt it was just mediocre. It was a retailing of the original which could not be improved upon. The only redeeming quality for me was the narration by Michael C Hall. Had to revise my review and move up to 4 stars. Episodes two and three are much improved over the pilot. These two episodes didn’t feel like a retelling of the same story, but added depth and history. Who knows, I may end up scoring it a 5 🤷‍♀️

Terrible. Predictable. Boring. Twilight knockoff.

I thought, “okay, a reworking of Romancing the Stone” but no. There is no chemistry with any of these actors. I don’t blame Brad Patt for getting killed off early. Channing Tatum is entertaining.

Offensive. I am from Virginia.

I love vampire stores and Leto so I assumed this movie was a win-win—it was not.
