All of the problems from the original film persist. It doesn't follow its own internal logic very well and it is drab. Seriously, what did color ever do to Snyder? It was interesting to see how integral to the plot Cyborg actually was versus his extremely diminished time in Whedon's. All in all it was an exercise in one mans slavish devotion to a project that was a great idea on paper (honestly, it's The Justice League, most of the heavy lifting is done by the property) but instead of making a movie that fans of these beloved characters wanted, he made his "Snyder" cut. The dour, bloody, melancholy, R rated film is everything that is wrong with comic book stuff today.
