I will give this game a one star because I've been a big fan of ace combat franchise. I've played ace combat 5 on ps2 over a decade ago. The new ace combat 7 for ps4 literally has the same graphics as its predecessors from ps2. Not to mention lack of airplanes. There are a very limited number of aircrafts. Missing a lot of jets from US and Russian airforce and not to mention Chinese. I dont understand why the developers wouldnt add more aircrafts. Landing and take off is super unrealistic as compared to ace combat 5 from ps2. You basically have to bring the airplane closer to the runway and itll automatically land. The take off is horrible too. The airplane automatically takes off after a certain speed. This type of nonsense didnt exist for ace combat 5 for ps2. The previous game also gave you the opportunity to refuel and reload during the mission. In conclusion, this game offers nothing new and if anything it has actually taken away many features that ace combat had back in 2000s. I also dont understand the developers obsession with space war. Why cant we just have realistic missions? What is the need for crazy giant space crafts or flying through futuristic space elevators?. 1 out of 5 for this game
