The critics are wrong. In the theaters with the music I’ve grown up with playing all around, this movie moved me. Getting tears from my eyes is an achievement, let alone leaving me with ongoing chills. Everything that could possibly be wrong with this movie is overshadowed by Rami Malek’s absolutely breathtaking, powerful, and Oscar-deserving performance. Thank you to Freddy, Brian, Roger, and John, I’m so glad you belong to us. You’ve helped us all.
