An easy read book, I picked it up in the library for a weekend read in the caravan, ideal. The story is not a long drag, straight into action and about what is going on in the mind of an infantry man, although only 18years of age. It is realism, probably put together from true stories, 'Faction'. Time on tour is not all about fighting, it is getting on with the other blokes in camp, the banter, not wanting to let others down. As much fear of your own Sergeant as there is of the enemy. I was not aware of the Taliban trying to take British Soldiers alive and it certainly is happening in this short tale. It is an easy read but left me with a sense of the truth being told.
