I need Father Brown because I look forward to his show. I like detective work and mysteries. The actors and actresses are superb in my eyes. I enjoy the interactions and the subject matter. I miss the other shows PBS had on as I looked forward watching. They were all so great in their style of acting. Midsummer Wine has some very good acting in it. It reminds me of the old vaudeville shows. Campo was a very good actor. I wonder what his background was. He could dance, sing, entertain, and deliver the antics. He made me laugh as did the others. I watched them while I was in my bed with cancer. Sometimes they made me cry because they were so funny. At that time I needed that show--laughter is a wonderful healer.The policemen are a hoot and I love their dialogue.
