One of the worst books I have read in a long time. I have read every Daniel Silva book and loved all of them. The twists and turns are always great. This book had absolutely zero suspense to it. There was one point in the novel that Gabriel’s plan didn’t go as planned and it lasted for a total of one chapter. The entire book could be summarized in Daniel Silva’s attempt to criticize Donald Trump. That it. Simple as that. Silva went farther than Robert muller did to say that Donald trump is a full fledged Russian asset. Ripping multiple senators and congressman in our country. I was shocked by how much of the book was dedicated to sharing his own personal agenda rather than give the reader an enjoyable book.
