Disappointing- I went expecting to be wowed by Disney's interpretation of the Nutcracker. There is very little ballet and does not follow the story line of the original ballet's story. The Nutcracker character himself although intriguing to look at has no depth and is depicted as weak.
I guess this is some kind of feminist version all stemming from the Me2 movement.
On a positive note the costumes were beautiful and the little mouse enchanting.
