Okay so the movie started out pretty well, the idea of resurrecting an ancient fossil would keep any movie lover sci-fi or not in loop. However, from there on, it was all just blooming downhill for me.....CALVIN was quite literally an amalgamation of starfish, stem cells and an alien face that I can only imagine was a damn ripoff of aliens vs predators. What’s more is that, the damn thing was indestructible and even survived in outer space, surely such a powerful creature must’ve been fossilised as a result of some agents or factors at work for over millions of years ? And ffs did you guys HAVE to get rid of Ryan Reynolds that early ? Seeing a guy like him go that early really put me off because I was subconsciously under the impression that he’d probably save the day. Look I’m not saying the directors and crew lack creativity.....I give them full points for thinking unconventionally and trying to create a species that the mind wouldn’t be able to comprehend, however, I’m sure catering to the expectations of your audience plays a crucial role in the success of a movie ? And Dear God, what about that ending 😂😂😂😂😂 I again credit them for taking everyone by surprise but really ? WAS THAT THE ENDING EVERYONE WAS EXPECTING ???!!! Goodness me, if I ever find this damn CALVIN I’ll be sure to nuke this POS alive. OR DOES HE SURVIVE THAT TOO ESPINOSA ????!!!!!
