If you’re on the fence about going to see this movie… Jump back off and walk the opposite direction. Hugh Jackman acted the hell out of the movie, but the plot was horrible. If you like Ryan Reynolds-and I do – I advise watching Welcome to Wrexham, it’s much more entertaining. Instead of spending money in the theaters, I recommend just watching the first two Deadpool movies at home. You’ll enjoy it more. Except for Hugh Jackman. He definitely was almost worth having to sit through this movie. The only reason it gets two stars is I like these two actors, but I don’t like them in this movie.

This is heartwarming. I think we as a whole NEED more movies like this. Tom Hanks, as usual, is perfect in the role. I’ve always admired his versatility and he plays a curmudgeon like he’s born to it. It’s also a treat to see his son play the younger Otto. The ending is predictable, but that’s perfectly OK. Bring some tissues.
