I had such high hopes for the lion king as it was my childhood movie that I still watch today. I was so disappointed with this new movie it did not capture the cartoon at all. The visuals were amazing but some of the characters were horrible! I understand they couldn’t make it exactly the same as the cartoon but so many key moments and body language that was missed that really made you feel what the characters were feeling. For someone who is a massive Disney fan this was such a let down.
