It pains me to know that these cults abuse and make God out to be so cruel. God is love and sent Jesus to save mankind from sin, and to destroy the works of Satan on this earth. Jesus has gotten the victory over sin and death and has given us the Holy Spirit to live a life loving and serving God, not being perfect as Jesus because we can't. Through the Holy Spirit and the teachings of the Bible we can accomplish this. And yes there will be an Armageddon and heaven and hell are real. But if we truly love God and shun evil as best as we can (always be Mindful of your actions) we will live in paradise in our next life. The fight we have in this earth is spiritual not carnal. So we hate the sin but love the sinner and always try to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. It's all in the Bible if interpreted and applied correctly.
