I gave this 5 stars at first, then removed my review and I'm now giving this 2 stars and giving it another in depth review. I played this for a solid month or so. I played the entire campaign and then no lifed end game stuff. The campaign was fun all around, the quests were cool, cinematic were nice, servers handled decent at launch IMO, but...as I kept playing I noticed I was really getting burnt out and everything past mid game was very tedious and lacking. Helltides and NM dungeons are the only thing to do and before NM dungeons were horrible XP but was addressed. I very much dislike the itemization of the game and feel they could have done much better, 99.9% of the items I recieve are instantly sold or de crafted for mats, the skill tree is sorta boring even though at first it does look pretty. I felt like they really made it seem like the openworld aspect would be more of a MMO/multiplayer thing but honestly I was solo the entire time til I met someone to play with but it made it that much more lonely and boring which I personally found not good, it'd be good to play with others if that was something players wanted. The end game content doesn't exist. Pvp well, that's a joke I know it's not the main thing but still a broken aspect. I haven't played or wanted to play pretty much since then or wanted to make a new character and was hoping season 1 might bring me back but wow seeing what they brought to the table was such a disappointment... so for that I rate 2 stars and really hope they bring a lot of fixing but with how long they've had diablo 4 in the making and other diablo games in the past you thought they had more knowledge. These are just a few of the main issues amongst many more and I've been a huge diablo fan and played all of them and was hoping for the success of diablo 4. So all in all would I recommend diablo 4 in its current state? No. Maybe if it's on a big sale and you want to try it out but I'd wait til they actually fix it if they ever do. Til then I'll be playing other games.
