I had high hopes for this book as the premise sounded interesting, but it's written at a 5th grade level, completely predictable, and redundant. There's nothing original in this book. The main character is insufferable and brings on all her miseries on herself. There's no subtlety, and I figured out the ending by the first "alternate reality". It's full of edgy pop psychology bite sized lines, which I'm sure resonates with angsty teenagers, but this isn't for adults. I wouldn't even recommend this for teenagers as the writing is so basic and trite, I wouldn't want teenagers to think this is how books should read. Unsurprisingly, the author is a children's book author and it is very obvious in the writing of this book. Don't waste your time with this one, the ending is EXACTLY what you think it's going to be.
