This movie is like an unfinished sentence. It sparks your curiosity but leaves you wondering what was the point? The majority of this movie builds up to a rather anticlimatic ending.

So dark it's beautiful. First you're indifferent to Bloom, then you sympathise with him and then you are Louis Bloom. We all have a deep capacity for 'evil' and this movie taps a little bit into those reserves as you subconsciously approve of Bloom's decisions and feel the satisfaction with every success. Incredible.
