Spectacular new series! I just watched Episode nine, and that's probably the best so far in an already excellent series. I'm eagerly hoping for a Season 2 in the near future!

At first I thought it was a stylish Neo-noir mystery with fun nods to classic cinema sprinkled throughout. But it started to get VERY interesting a few episodes in, slowly spooning on little hints that there was a lot going on behind the curtain. Let's just say, it weaves together various genres perfectly, and the twists, when they are revealed, are not jarring, but seemingly inevitable in hindsight. They best sort of mystery, for me. Acting and directing are excellent throughout, and while we get a superb and satisfying ending, it also leaves us at a perfect starting point for season 2. Highly recommended.

I loved this one, and I hope we'll get to see more. Every character has a uniquely strange personality, and nobody is so unpleasant that I don't want to watch them - which is a problem I get in some shows with similar humor. The comedy can be quickly-paced, but also lets things breathe sometimes. A sign of both great writing and excellent ensemble acting. I hope to see a continuation of this series!

Shatner's best role, Spader's funniest, and a show that never seemed to play it straight even when it was confronting the monumental issues of its day (and still our day, in large part). Highly recommended.

Tense and gripping all the way through. I was worried early on that the characters would prove to be one-dimensional but by the end they really surprised me. Sets up a lot of "what would I do?" situations and pays them off well. Worth bingeing.
